A Christmas Poem

Twas the day after Christmas 2004,
When out of the master suite came
furniture, clothes and more.
Off to U-Haul storage it all went,
Now is it time for Holly to vent?
Remodeling and updating was the plan,
as they say,
to have it all complete by Thanksgiving Day.

Tis the day after Christmas 2005,
and not much has been done
Is it surprising that Larry is till alive?
But, alas, he is determined to complete his project quick,
Shall we all bet if it's complete by Christmas 2006?

I'm sure you all know that Holly will be killed
If Larry finds out this sad tale has been spilled.
Therefore it is your choice if you love your mother,
to keep your mouths shut or you will be smothered!

A Happy Anniversary is planned for tonight! We are going to the Gaylord to spend the night and go out to dinner. I am SO looking forward to it. I heard the Gaylord (in Grapevine) is an awesome place. Can't wait to see it. I'll try to remember to take the camera! But first, I must see if I can get in to the dentist today. I broke a tooth last night eating popcorn at the movies. Went to see Syriana. My suggestion is - SKIP IT! Unless you want to spend money trying to figure out what's going on. I'm sure that by this time tomorrow I will have even forgotten the name of it!

As I said in my first blog - I don't have a very exciting life, so this is about all you'll get! I'll try to have something more thrilling to report next time.

I don't know if I will keep this up, but I'll try. I don't have anything to post that is nearly has informative as my daughters' blogs! Anyway - let's just see where this will take us!
